Why hire a Gravestone Carver?
In our days, most grave memorials are mass-produced. They represent our economy and might be good enough for some of us. Nevertheless, a custom hand-carved headstone offers a more intimate energy that is only achieved by the careful hand of someone who carves it in slow motion. During this process, the artisan is capable of passing onto the stone an idea that has been conceived and tailored specially for the one person’s live story with feel and dedication.

THE COMMISSION PROCESS
I place my clients at the center of my activity. I am committed to their wishes by expressing their ideas and producing them onto the stone with my best artistic integrity. My intention is that the resulting artwork is faithful to what is originally planned for and hopefully even exceeds our expectations
INITIAL PLANNING
A brief list of points to consider will help us identify the details that are important to you. To make your ideas more clear, we accommodate a consultation and make sketches until the desired design is achieved.
FINANCIAL RANGE
It is always a good idea to have in mind your financial framework so that I can accommodate it accordingly. It is very difficult to name a set price since it depends on many variables such as choice of stone, installation, and design complexity.
PROPOSAL COST
Once a clear idea has been conceived, I will make the sketches to choose from and formulate the cost for the final project. We will also discuss the choice of stone and timeframe. There is a set fee for this initial work. See Our price list
COMPLETION
When you are completely happy with the design, I will ask you to sign a copy of the drawings and a commission contract. One-half of the total agreed cost will be due, and the final payment when the piece is done and ready to install.
Installation is discussed and arranged with each individual project.
